The Portuguese Perl Workshop is back. This year's event will be held in Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP) in the 4th and 5th of June (see map).
The first day of the event will be entirely dedicated to training, the subjects being covered will be annouced soon.

27/02/10 Training session: Perl For Beginners
In the 4th of June there will be, besides the Catalyst training session, a session on Perl training for beginners. This session is ideal for people interested our curious that intend to start using this language. No previous knowledge about the technology is required.
This session will have a cost of 100 Euros, with a 50% discount for APPP members, this value also grants you access to the second day of the workshop. Training will be certified by an accredited company.
There is a limited number of attendees and registration is opening soon, so be alert.
26/02/10 Training session: Catalyst - Intermediate Level
In the 4th on June, workshop's first day, there will be a training session entirely dedicated to Catalyst. The responsible trainee will be Matt S. Trout from Shadowcat Systems, Catalyst core team member, DBIx::Class project founder and author of "The Definitive Guide to Catalyst". The session will target an intermediate level, a little knowledge about the technology is advised.
The session will have a cost of 200 Euros, with a 50% discount for APPP members, this value also grants you access to the second day of the workshop. Training will be certified by an accredited company.
