We are two days away from the event, the schedule is already available here (things may still change) and we are still accepting last minute talks.

The venue is in IST, Campus Alameda, in the Congress Center ("Centro de Congressos", by the cafeteria near the back entrance) in floor 02. Check the schedule for the room numbers for the training sessions, the workshop on the 23rd will be on room 02.1.

Lunch will be sponsored by Log (thank you Log!) on both days, and will be served in the hall on the same floor.

Call For Presentations Officially Open

The call for talks for this years' edition is officially open.

We are accepting talk proposals in english or portuguese, 20 minutes long, about any subject related with Perl.

The deadline for talk submission in september 15th, and talks can be submitted here.

Registration for the Portuguese Perl Workshop is officially open. More details about registration can be found here.

Workshop attendance for APPP members is free. For the remaining attendees it will have a cost of 20 Euros. Training sessions will have the announced costs.

Seats for the workshop and training sessions are limited, so register soon.

Training Sessions

We will have two training sessions running in parallel on the 22nd of September:

• Perl For Beginners: this session is ideal for individuals interested and/or curious about Perl. Requiring no previous knowledge, join this session if you intend to start using Perl. Cost: €100
• Effective Perl Programming: this session covers intermediate level topics. More information here. Previous knowledge of Perl is strongly recommended. The trainer will be brian d foy, author of several books about Perl. Cost: €200

All APPP members and IST teachers and students have a 50% discount on the training sessions, this value also grants access to the second day of the workshop. There is a limited number of attendees for both sessions and registration will be opening soon.
